Tiwonge Ghambi

Tiwonge Ghambi is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and policy formulation across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Budget Officer at Open Society Foundations, Tiwonge has played a pivotal role in preparing and analyzing complex organizational budgets, providing analytical support, and advising on budget management. Previous positions include Senior Budget Analyst for Africa operations, Budget and Policy Analyst at UMass Boston, and Project Manager at Banja La Mtsogolo, among others. Tiwonge's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from New York University and an MBA in International Business and Finance from Brandeis International Business School, complemented by professional qualifications from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Additionally, Tiwonge contributed as a Finance Committee member on the Board of Directors at Philanthropy New York and served as a Deacon providing financial advisory at Beth Eden Baptist Church.
