Ilge Akkaya

Ilge Akkaya is currently a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI, specializing in program synthesis research, and has previously contributed to multiagent and robotics teams, leading efforts on robotics systems that utilize deep reinforcement learning. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Periscope Data, where significant contributions were made to the design and implementation of scalable microservices. Ilge's academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bilkent University.
