Jongsoo Park

Jongsoo Park is a highly experienced technical professional in the fields of computer science and electrical engineering. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI since November 2024, Jongsoo previously worked at Meta from July 2017 to November 2024, where significant contributions included work on the Llama3 project, optimization of training and inference performance, and co-designing the Meta Training and Inference Accelerator. Jongsoo held various roles at Meta, including Research Scientist (Principal) and Technical Lead, and was a founding member of the Facebook AI Systems Co-design team. Prior experience includes a senior research scientist role at Intel Corporation, a research assistant position at Stanford University, and software engineering at Penta Security Systems. Jongsoo earned a PhD and MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University.
