Kate Blankenship

Kate Blankenship is a seasoned technical recruiter with extensive experience in talent acquisition across various high-profile companies, including OpenAI, Datafold, Gem, Netflix, Oculus VR, and Facebook. Since February 2024, Kate has been working as a Technical Recruiter at OpenAI. Previously, as a Talent Acquisition Consultant at Datafold, Kate played a key role in enhancing interview processes and onboarding new recruiting software. At Gem, Kate developed and implemented a successful Nurture Strategy for Engineering, Product, and Design teams. With a strong foundation in recruiting management at both Oculus VR and Netflix, and an early career that included pivotal contributions at Facebook, Kate has demonstrated expertise in building hiring pipelines and managing recruiting teams. Kate holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and has studied at Universitat de Barcelona.
