Pedram Keyani

Pedram Keyani is an experienced technology leader currently serving as a Resident Worrier at OpenAI, focusing on integrity and mitigating abuse of AI models. Keyani has held significant roles in various organizations, including a Visiting Partner at Pear VC and an Advisor & First Investor at Odys Aviation. As Co-Founder and CTO of Helping Hands Community, a nonprofit aiding vulnerable populations during COVID-19, Keyani played a crucial role in delivering critical support. Previous positions include Director of Engineering at Uber, where Keyani's leadership scaled the growth team from 20 to 250 engineers, and Director of Engineering at Facebook, where Keyani established the Site Integrity team to protect user accounts. Keyani's early career includes a software engineering role at Google, contributing to the development of Orkut. Keyani holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University.
