Ruby Chen

Ruby Chen is a member of the design staff at OpenAI since September 2022, previously serving as a visual designer at Pinterest for a brief period. Experience includes roles as a product design intern and consultant at Zogo, as well as a consumer credit marketing analyst and intern at PayPal, where Ruby developed marketing strategies and conducted financial analyses. Leadership experience includes serving as president of Innovative Design, a student-run design agency at UC Berkeley, along with various design and marketing roles at WeWork, The Blum Center for Developing Economies, Zuora, and SkyDeck Berkeley. Ruby Chen holds a Master of Design in Human Computer Interaction from California College of the Arts and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia and Environmental Design from the University of California, Berkeley.
