Xiaolin Hao

Xiaolin Hao is a data science professional with extensive experience, currently serving as a Member of the Data Science Staff at OpenAI since April 2024. Previously, Xiaolin held multiple roles at Facebook from July 2014 to April 2024, culminating in the position of Director of Data Science. Early career stages included work as a Data Scientist and Business Intelligence Data Analyst at ZeniMax Online Studios and a brief internship at Bank of China International. Educational achievements include a PhD in Bioinformatics and a Master's in Statistics from the University of Southern California, along with a Bachelor's in Automation from Tsinghua University. Contributions to academia were made as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the University of Southern California, and entrepreneurial experience was gained as a co-founder and executive team member at Golden Education Inc.
