Ute Schauberger

Ute Schauberger is a seasoned professional in service design with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as Course Lead at the Usher Institute, The University of Edinburgh, Ute spearheads the 'Foundations in Design' module for the MSc Leading Digital Transformation in Health and Care for Scotland program. In addition, Ute leads the service design practice at Opencast, focusing on strategic direction and technical excellence. Previous roles include senior positions at NHS England, HMRC, Healthcare Improvement Scotland, NDS Scotland, and COHESION Medical, where Ute emphasized inclusive design and collaborative methodologies. Ute holds a Master of Design degree in Design Innovation and Citizenship from The Glasgow School of Art and a Master of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Glasgow.
