Vernon Hui

Vernon Hui is an experienced technology executive currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at OpenGov Inc. since February 2024. Previously, Hui held the position of Head of Engineering Services for Ecosystems and Platform at Qualtrics from August 2018 to February 2024. Prior roles include Senior Director of Development for Oracle Data Cloud, and Sr Director of Real-Time Systems Engineering at BlueKai before its acquisition by Oracle in 2014. Hui spent 15 years at Microsoft in various roles, including Product Unit Manager, where responsibilities encompassed technology vision and product engineering for Xbox LIVE online sports video applications. Earlier internships at Motorola and the Internet Explorer group at Microsoft rounded out Hui's formative experience in software testing and development. Hui earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
