James McKay

James McKay is an experienced finance and operations leader currently serving as Head of Finance and Operations at Slash since March 2022. McKay is also a member of Operators Guild since May 2023. Prior roles include Vice President of Business Operations at Clearco, where McKay held several positions including Director of Business Operations and Revenue Lead from August 2019 to March 2022. Additional experience includes Director of Operations at TradeGecko, Consultant and Director of Business Growth at Visually, and Director of Inside Sales at 500px. McKay began the career as a Regional Manager at Veritone, Inc. and also worked as a Teaching Assistant at York University. McKay holds an MA in Cinema and Media Studies from York University, an MBA course in Managing Broadcasting from Schulich School of Business, and a BA (Hons) in English Language and Literature from St. Thomas University (CA).
