Jelko Huysmans

Jelko Huysmans is an experienced Application Engineer currently working at Opsys Technologies since March 2023 and also serving as the Founder of Jemala Consulting since January 2023. Previously, Jelko held the position of Specialized Field Application Engineer at Arrow Electronics from January 2022 to February 2023. From March 2007 to December 2021, Jelko was with MELEXIS, where responsibilities included ownership of wearable applications for far-infrared, contactless temperature sensors, and developing relationships with key customers in various markets. Earlier roles at MELEXIS included Senior Application Engineer, Application Engineer, and Test Engineer, alongside a brief tenure as a Test Engineer at Esaote. Jelko holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Katholieke Hogeschool Limburg, obtained between 2002 and 2006.
