José Cunha

José Cunha is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering, solutions architecture, and education. As a Solutions Architecture Expert at Optare Solutions, José built and managed an operational team in Portugal, focusing on talent recruitment and strategic client engagement. Previously, José has held teaching positions at Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro and Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo, where courses on MS Office tools, Distributed Systems, Spatial Databases, and GIS Applications were delivered. José has also served as Head of Solutions at ATLANSE Portugal, overseeing technical project coordination, and has held various roles that involved software development, research, and project management at companies such as Winprovit, iZone Knowledge Systems, and F3M Information Systems S.A. Currently, José is pursuing a Ph.D. in Informatics at Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, following a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Universidade do Minho.
