Kristiana Reed

Kristiana Reed is currently a Performance Analyst at Optimal. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Analyst for Spfm Lp from August 2018 to June 2020. In their role at Spfm Lp, Kristiana was responsible for optimizing the potential of the company by creating scripts in R and Python to automate daily tasks performed by other employees and generate reports as needed. Kristiana also developed and maintained the pricing structure for the company, with a focus on the pharmaceutical side of the business.

Some of Kristiana's notable projects include redesigning the company's pricing algorithm to allow for more competitive pricing options, automating the pricing of new items using R and SQL, and creating a script in R that utilizes machine learning to predict weights of future shipments. Additionally, they have used k-means to analyze customers and recommend products based on buying habits, determined items to be put on special deals based on inventory movement and competitive potential, and migrated internal data to a third party host using a series of API calls through R and SOAP.

In their current role at Optimal, Kristiana has continued to develop their skills in data analysis and visualization. Kristiana has created an interactive dashboard to evaluate items in each warehouse, including the costs, total profitability and flagging items that are not selling well or selling quickly. Additionally, they have generated reports that show sales reps what items need to be pushed to their customers, and has analyzed and set allocations for pharmaceutical products influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kristiana Reed has a Master's in Data Science from Maryville University of Saint Louis, a Bachelor's degree in Astronomy from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and a Minor in Mathematics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Kristiana is also certified as a Blue Triangle Certified Blue Triangle Performance Professional and as a Maryville University of Saint Louis Post Bachelor's Certificate in Machine Learning.
