Brian Walsh

Brian Walsh is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Optiva Inc. since September 2021, Brian previously held the position of Software Engineering Manager at Allstate, overseeing full stack product teams focused on transformative enterprise growth. Prior roles include Technical Project Manager at First Derivatives, leading a project for a Dublin-based bank, and Technical Manager at Openwave Mobility, managing distributed scrum teams. Brian's early career includes significant roles at Citi and SS8 Networks, where Brian contributed to large-scale applications and developed migration tools, respectively. Brian holds a Master’s degree in Electronics from Queen's University Belfast and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Manchester.
