Morten Andersen Herfelt

Morten Andersen Herfelt is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on computational engineering and structural design. Currently serving as a Partner and Developer at Optum Computational Engineering since March 2018, Morten has previously held positions including Postdoc at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, Rådgivende Ingeniør at NIRAS, and Erhvervsphd-studerende at Alectia. Morten also gained international experience as a Visiting PhD Student at the University of Newcastle. Early career roles include serving as a Student Assistant at Statens Byggeforskningsinstitut, Aalborg Universitet, and as a Teaching Assistant at the Technical University of Denmark. Morten holds a PhD in Civil Engineering as well as a Master of Science degree from DTU.
