Donna Welch

Donna Welch is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in clinical research and operational risk management. Currently serving as the Head of Operational Risk Management and Sr. VP Clinical Infrastructure at Ora, Inc. since March 2001, Donna is responsible for the initiation and management of the OraConnect Retina Site and Patient Network, as well as overseeing the Ora Institute Retina R&D program. Previous roles at Ora include Sr. VP and COO, where leadership of operational teams resulted in significant growth and development of the company. Prior to their tenure at Ora, Donna held various positions in clinical research and nursing, including Director of Clinical Research and Director of Glaucoma and Systemic Disease. Donna’s career began as a nurse at Lawrence General Hospital, culminating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Fitchburg State University.
