Tony Cano

Tony Cano is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in bioprocess and purification development. Currently serving as Executive Director of CMC Process Development at Orca Bio since September 2021, Tony has previously held key leadership positions, including Executive Director, Head of Purification Process Development at Sana Biotechnology, Inc., and Sr. Director of Process Sciences at AbbVie. Prior roles also include Director of Process Sciences at Stemcentrx and various positions at Genentech, culminating in a Group Leader role. Tony holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Vanderbilt University.
