Funda Suer

Funda Suer is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in medical leadership and genetics. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Medical Director at Orchid since August 2024, Funda previously held similar roles at Quadrant Biosciences Inc. and Sema4. Funda's academic contributions include serving as Associate Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, alongside positions in various research and clinical roles at notable institutions such as Quest Diagnostics Inc. and the National Human Genome Research Institute. Funda holds a PhD in Medical Genetics from GATA Military Medical Academy, completed in 2003, with further training as a Clinical Molecular Genetics Fellow at NHGRI.
