Rick Jacobson

Rick Jacobson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the performing arts and healthcare administration. Currently retired from the University of Minnesota Medical School, Rick Jacobson has been an Audio Describer for multiple organizations since 1996, including the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, Hennepin Theatre Trust, and Minnesota Opera. In addition to audio description work, Rick Jacobson served as an Administrative Associate and Fellowship Coordinator at the University of Minnesota from 2012 to 2023, providing support to key medical personnel in the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology division. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Concordia College, complemented by a high school diploma from White Bear Lake Senior High.
