Mia Estrada

Mia Estrada is a skilled podcast producer with experience in various journalism roles. Currently serving as a Podcast Producer at OPB since July 2023, Mia researches, writes, and produces content for "The Evergreen," a weekly podcast focused on the Pacific Northwest. Previous experience includes a Production Assistant position at NPR, where Mia was responsible for assembling on-air materials and producing program content, as well as serving as a Kroc Fellow reporting on diverse stories for multiple desks. Mia's foundational experience includes roles as an Assistant Producer and Arts & Culture Reporter at KERA, where notable contributions included elevating social media presence and producing significant arts coverage. A graduate of the University of North Texas with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mia’s early career achievements include recognition as a two-year college Reporter of the Year and participation in The New York Times Student Journalism Institute.
