Bob Anderson

Bob Anderson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the organic trade and agriculture sectors. As the Senior Trade Advisor at the Organic Trade Association since 2000 and Principal at SUSTAINABLE STRATEGIES LLC since 1999, Bob Anderson has played a significant role in shaping industry standards. Previous positions include Advisor roles at Global Animal Partnership and New England Culinary Institute, and Chairperson of the USDA National Organic Standards Board from 1996 to 2001, where Bob Anderson contributed to the development of National Organic Standards. Bob Anderson also served as President and CEO of Walnut Acres Organic Farms from 1969 to 1999 and held the position of Naval Officer in the US Navy from 1967 to 1969. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts from Thiel College and training in Naval Operations.
