Jakub Milczarek

Jakub Milczarek is a Senior Analytical Chemist at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) since September 2019, responsible for coordinating the OPCW Validation Group and maintaining key databases and analytical systems. Previously, Jakub served as an Inspector for analytical chemistry, carrying out inspections under the Chemical Weapons Convention. In addition to a role as a Science Advocate with the Science Advocates Association, Jakub has held various academic positions, including Head of the Chromatography Laboratory and Assistant Professor at Lodz University of Technology, where teachings included forensic analytical chemistry and chromatography. The educational background includes a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Jagiellonian University and multiple degrees in relevant fields, demonstrating a strong foundation in both scientific and management competencies.
