The Human Rights and Governance Team at the OSCE focuses on promoting and protecting human rights, democracy, and the rule of law within participating States. They identify and address human rights violations, provide analysis and recommendations on governance-related issues, and support the development of democratic institutions and practices. The team also develops policies, conducts trainings, and fosters regional cooperation to ensure compliance with international human rights standards. Through their efforts, the team aims to strengthen societal frameworks and prevent conflicts arising from governance issues and human rights abuses.
