Doug Cohen

Doug Cohen is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the biotechnology and technology sectors. Currently serving as CEO of IR Medtek since January 2019, Cohen also holds the position of Member of the Board at Organovo Holdings, Inc. since September 2020 and has been the President of Beacon Street Innovations since September 2016, leading NSF-funded initiatives. As a Partner at Beacon Street Investing since 2015, Cohen has focused on venture capital in the biotech industry. Previously, from January 1994 to September 2016, Cohen was Vice President of Operations and Engineering at Screen Machine Industries, contributing to several technology patents and earning multiple design awards. Cohen's educational background includes studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and completion of a corporate governance program at Kellogg Executive Education.
