Jim Snyder

Jim Snyder is a seasoned professional in the field of engineering with a strong focus on testing, compliance, and safety. Currently serving as Test Laboratory Manager at Origami Solar since October 2024, Jim has held notable positions including Senior Testing and Certification Engineer at Enstall, Principal Engineer for Safety and Compliance at Bloom Energy, and Senior Compliance Engineer at SnapNrack. With a substantial tenure at Underwriters Laboratories as a Staff Engineer, Jim specialized as a Project Handler and Reviewer at the UL Photovoltaic Center of Excellence. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara, completed between 1989 and 1994.
