Ellen Ehrenpreis

Ellen Ehrenpreis is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law, particularly within the technology sector. As a Partner in the Technology Companies Group at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP since March 2018, Ellen advises companies and founders on a range of matters including formation, venture financing, governance, M&A transactions, and litigation strategy. Additionally, as the CEO of the World Energy Innovation Forum since December 2013, Ellen leads efforts to promote innovation in renewable energy through convening industry leaders. Ellen co-founded Edgewood Law Partners in October 2016, offering strategic legal counsel to private and public companies. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and an associate position at Ropes & Gray LLP. Ellen Ehrenpreis holds a Juris Doctor with honors from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature with a focus on Finance from the University of Pennsylvania.
