Beau Standish

Beau Standish is an accomplished leader in medical technology with extensive experience in enabling technologies and surgical innovation. Currently serving as Chief Enabling Technologies Officer and President of Global Enabling Technologies at Orthofix since January 2023, Beau previously held the position of President of Enabling Technologies at SeaSpine from May 2021 to January 2023, where integration of business units followed the acquisition of 7D Surgical. As CEO and founder of 7D Surgical from June 2014 to May 2021, Beau successfully developed a range of machine vision-enabled imaging technologies, achieving over 20 regulatory approvals and generating significant revenue. Academic contributions include a role as Assistant Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Ryerson University, where research focused on optical imaging techniques, and prior positions in medical imaging research, quality assurance, and device reliability. Beau holds a PhD in Medical Biophysics from the University of Toronto, along with additional qualifications in Medical Imaging and Engineering Physics.
