Chiara Tissen

Chiara Tissen is a versatile professional with extensive experience in translation, teaching, voice acting, and directing. Self-employed since July 2018, Chiara operates Chiara Tissen Producties, focusing on translation, voice acting, writing, and educational instruction. As a German language teacher at Open Schoolgemeenschap Bijlmer since August 2018, Chiara has previously taught at Cygnusgymnasium in Amsterdam since August 2012. Chiara has contributed as an author and translator for Uitgeverij Atlas Contact, with notable works including the translation of "Liefde in Tijden van Haat" and "die Unschärfe der Welt." Chiara’s background in performance includes roles as an actress, voiceover artist, and audiobook narrator. Additionally, Chiara has taught voice and speech at the Nederlandse Musical Academie Arnhem and provided coaching for public speaking and breath training. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in German Language and Culture from the University of Amsterdam and a degree from the Toneelacademie Maastricht.
