Matt Schwartzkopf

Matt Schwartzkopf is a litigation attorney at Oscar Health since December 2024. Previously, Matt served as associate counsel at ClaimDOC, focusing on No Surprises Act claims and litigation matters. Prior experience includes an associate attorney role at Carmoney Law Firm, where oversight was provided for numerous insurance defense litigation cases, and extensive service in the US Army as a Deputy to the Judge Advocate and Engineer Officer, among other positions. Legal internships were completed at Coppola, McConville, and the Office of the Federal Public Defender, along with a student attorney role at the Drake University Law School Legal Clinic. Matt holds a Juris Doctor from Drake University Law School, a Master’s degree in Political Economy from Iowa State University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from Drake University.
