Riad Eid

Riad Eid, CFA, FRM, currently serves as Principal Analyst - Domestic Banking at the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Canada since November 2023. Prior to this role, Riad Eid held various positions at BLOM BANK s.a.l. from April 2008 to July 2023, culminating in the role of Head of Financial Institutions, overseeing banking relations and credit lines with banks and non-bank financial institutions. Riad Eid also contributed to the CFA Society Lebanon as a Board Member and Advocacy Chair from November 2018 to October 2021. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Economics - Banking and Financial Markets from Saint Joseph University of Beirut and a Bachelor's degree in International Economics and Finance from Lebanese University. Riad Eid began a professional career in sales at Aptec Lebanon SAL, focusing on computer and IT products.
