Franco Caparas

Franco Caparas is a seasoned professional in software development and healthcare technology, currently serving as the Director of Development at OSIS since March 2013. In this role, Franco oversees development strategies and manages software development for over 40 practices, focusing on EHR customizations and efficiency. Previously, Franco held the position of Manager of EHR Development at OSIS and served as a Senior Implementation Specialist at NextGen Healthcare from March 2005 to October 2012, where responsibilities included implementing and training on NextGen EHR across multiple clients. Franco began their career as a Software Analyst at Southwest Orlando Family Medicine, successfully transitioning the practice to a paperless environment. Franco holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantitative Sciences with a minor in Computer Sciences from the University of Florida.
