Dimo Chavdarov

Dimo Chavdarov is a maritime professional with extensive experience in dynamic positioning operations and subsea tasks. Currently serving as Chief Officer SDPO at OSM Thome since November 2023, Dimo oversees activities on a multipurpose subsea IMR vessel capable of ultra-deep-water operations. Previous roles include 2nd Officer DPO positions at Geoquip Marine, operating a geotechnical drilling vessel, and Rem Offshore, managing a PSV DP2. Dimo has also held various ranks at STAMCO, starting as a Deck Cadet and progressing through to Third Officer. Dimo's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Navigation from Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy, completed in 2018.
