Dave Hawkins

Dave Hawkins, VMS, CCCA, PMP, currently serves as Principal at Otak since December 2021 and has been with Sound Transit as Project Control Manager since January 2015. With extensive experience in project controls, scheduling, and risk management, Dave has held roles as Sr. Associate at Tarr Whitman Group, LLC since October 2011 and as Cost, Schedule and Risk Consultant at the Washington State Department of Transportation from October 2011 to December 2014. Prior positions include Associate at KBA, Inc. from June 2006 to October 2011, where responsibilities involved senior project management and client services, and Project Controls Manager at Sound Transit from 2003 to June 2006, leading a major capital program. Earlier experience included serving as Owner's Representative at Flad and Associates, helping to manage the construction of a significant biotech campus. Dave Hawkins holds an MBA in Finance and Operations and a BS in Project Management from the University of Washington, along with prior studies at Whitman College.
