Laura Merriman

Laura Merriman is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in design and communications. Currently serving as the Creative Director at Otak since September 2019, Laura leads the in-house Creative and Comms team, collaborating with various specialists to produce cohesive design and impactful communications. Previously, Laura held positions as Art Director at Element Three, where design and art direction for web and brand projects were key responsibilities, and as Graphic Designer at Penguin Group USA, focusing on book design. Laura's early career included roles as Publications Specialist at Ball State University, managing social media and print projects, and as a Design Intern at Ball State's IDIA Lab. Laura holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication from Ball State University.
