Josien Brands

Josien Brands is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in software testing and illustration. Currently a Software Tester at Otherside at Work since May 2024 and a Freelance Illustrator since February 2018, Josien has previously worked as a Junior Test Engineer at Polteq and held various servicedesk roles at Maandag® and OGD. Josien's early career included IT support positions at Omgevingsdienst Zuidoost-Brabant and Dobotex - PUMA SE Group, along with educational roles in ICT at ROC West-Brabant. Josien holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Studies Teacher Education from Fontys Hogeschool Tilburg and has advanced degrees in Latin American & Caribbean Studies and Cultural Anthropology & Development Studies, complemented by foundational studies in Illustration.
