Manuel Perez Vazquez

Manuel Perez Vazquez is a seasoned organic chemist with extensive experience in both academic and industrial settings. Currently serving as a Senior Organic Chemist at OTI Lumionics since April 2021, Manuel has previously worked as a Synthetic Chemist at Toronto Research Chemicals and as Group Leader and Research Scientist at Encycle Therapeutics Inc., focusing on the synthesis and evaluation of cyclic peptides for therapeutic applications. Academic contributions include multiple post-doctoral researcher positions at prestigious institutions such as the University of Toronto, University of Vigo, and Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, where research spanned topics such as asymmetric catalysis and total synthesis of natural products. Manuel holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Organic Chemistry and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, both from Universidade de Vigo.
