Naeem Akhtar

Naeem Akhtar is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as GQS Validation Lead at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies Europe since March 2022. Previously, Naeem worked as a Data Integrity Consultant at Polpharma Biologics and as a Computer System Validation Specialist at MSD, where responsibilities included assessing production automated systems and validating laboratory computer systems. Naeem's experience also includes roles at Otsuka as a GQS Validation Consultant, Bova as Quality Control Manager, and GSK as Senior Analytical Scientist and QC Supervisor, where management and training of laboratory teams were key responsibilities. Naeem began the career as an Analytical Scientist at Evotec and has held several positions in quality control and assurance roles in various companies, with a solid educational background including an M.Sc in Pharmaceutical Analysis from the University of Strathclyde and a PharmD from the University of Peshawar.
