Helen Ens

Helen Ens, CHRL, is a seasoned professional in human resources with extensive experience in organizational design, talent acquisition, and employee relations. Currently serving as a Consultant for Organizational Design and Job Evaluation at the City of Ottawa since September 2023, Helen has previously held significant roles at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology, including Manager of Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning and Senior Advisor for Employee and Labour Relations. Earlier career experiences include positions at Trenergy Inc. in Human Resources and Health & Safety, Great Wolf Lodge as a Recruitment and Training Specialist, and PWO Canada Inc. as a Human Resources Generalist. Helen holds a Post Graduate degree in Human Resources Management from Conestoga College and an HBA in Communication Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University.
