Marcela Martin

Marcela Martin is an experienced executive with a strong background in finance and leadership positions across various industries. Currently serving as an Advisor at Ouro since January 2024, Marcela also holds board member roles at Cvent and Chegg Inc. since December 2021 and September 2021, respectively. Previously, Marcela was the President of BuzzFeed until January 2024 and served as a board member at Avalara from September 2021 until its acquisition by Vista Partners in October 2022. Prior roles include Chief Financial Officer at Squarespace and Booking.com, as well as Executive Vice President and CFO at National Geographic and Executive Vice President of Finance/CFO at Fox International. Marcela's educational credentials include an MBA from the University of Liverpool, and studies at UCLA Anderson School of Management and Universidad de Belgrano, where a thesis was pending due to relocation to the United States, along with holding a CPA degree in Accounting/Finance from jobs in Argentina.
