Kelsey Wadman is an accomplished professional in the nonprofit sector, currently serving as the Director of Foundation and Government Relations at Outdoor Outreach since April 2024. Previously, Kelsey contributed to Just in Time for Foster Youth as a Storyteller & Grant Communication Specialist, advocating for transition age foster youth. Kelsey's experience includes roles as Grants Manager and Grant Writer at the Center for Community Solutions, Development and Communications Associate at the San Diego Audubon Society, and Grant Writing Intern at Champions for Health. Kelsey co-founded the Unjournal of Children's Literature, and has served as a Teaching Associate at San Diego State University, where responsibilities included curriculum development and classroom instruction. Early career roles included Resident Counselor positions at The Crossnore School and Grandfather Home for Children, along with various supervisory roles at Delaware North. Kelsey holds an MA in English and Comparative Literature with a specialty in Children's Literature from San Diego State University and a BA in English, Creative Writing from California State University, Long Beach.
