Marek Laskowski

Marek Laskowski, Ph.D., is an accomplished professional in the blockchain and Web3 sectors, currently serving as a Mentor at Outlier Ventures and Principal at Decentralised Consensus Systems. Laskowski is a member of the founding team at New Order, where efforts include incubating successful Web3 protocols, and co-founded Toronto Blockchain Week and the Blockchain Lab at Schulich School of Business, York University. Additionally, Laskowski holds the position of Adjunct Professor at York University and has served as an Advisor for skritswap. Previous roles include Chief Technology Officer at Kaskade Finance, Vice Chair for Methodology and Technology at UN/CEFACT, and Senior Research Scientist at BlockScience. Laskowski earned a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Manitoba, where also a Bachelor of Science degree was obtained.
