Pertti Reinikainen

Pertti Reinikainen has extensive experience in project management and engineering within the steel and ferrochrome industries, primarily at Outokumpu since December 1989. Key roles include Project Manager for multiple investment projects in the Steel Smelting Shop and Ferrochrome Plant, as well as overseeing significant initiatives such as the Zero Waste Project and the natural gas project MAKA. Reinikainen has also held various managerial positions, including Discipline Manager for Civil Construction & Project Engineering, Maintenance Manager and Plant Service Manager, coordinating maintenance resources and services across the Outokumpu Tornio Works. Additionally, experience includes leading engineering teams and functions, with a focus on layout and mechanical engineering, further demonstrating a comprehensive skill set in both project execution and maintenance management. Prior to Outokumpu, Reinikainen worked as a Design Engineer at Projekti-insinöörit, specializing in mechanical engineering for paper mills.
