Jared Hammer

Jared Hammer is a skilled scientist with extensive experience in cell sciences, particularly in managing recombinant protein production and cell line generation using CRISPRi technology. Currently serving as Scientist I at Outpace Bio since November 2021, Jared's previous roles include Senior Research Associate at Outpace Bio and Associate Scientist at Bristol Myers Squibb, where responsibilities included maintaining production cell lines and performing molecular biology assays. Prior experience at Juno Therapeutics involved similar competencies within a cell sciences team. At the University of Washington's School of Medicine, Jared independently researched the mechanisms of infection of Kaposi's sarcoma-associated herpesvirus. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, both from the University of Vermont.
