Dumitru Sliusarenco

Dumitru Sliusarenco is a seasoned legal and policy expert with extensive experience in human rights and hate crime policies. Currently serving as a Senior Case & Policy Officer at the Oversight Board and as a Consultant at the Council of Europe, Dumitru has led significant initiatives including an inter-governmental working group on hate crimes. Previous roles include Policy Lead at YouTube and Project Lead at Asociația Promo-LEX, where Dumitru focused on hate speech research and impact litigation. Dumitru has also contributed to human rights advocacy through roles at the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and Amnesty International Moldova. Dumitru holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree in Law from Universitatea de Stat din Moldova.
