David Minh Tran

David Minh Tran is a seasoned professional currently serving as a Policy, Advocacy and Campaigns Officer at Oxfam Australia since March 2022. Prior to this role, David gained diverse experience at the University of Melbourne as a Research Assistant supporting projects in the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health and held various positions, including Project Officer and Development Associate at Australian Catholic University. David's research contributions included studying digital diasporas and working alongside organizations such as the Council for Advancement and Support of Education and the Indigenous Data Network. David holds a Master of Geography with a focus on climate change politics and policy from the University of Melbourne and has completed significant coursework in anthropology and social policy at The London School of Economics.
