Daniel Garrett

Daniel Garrett is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the financial services and technology sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director at Oyster Consulting, LLC, since February 2024, Daniel previously founded DAN.TECH and held key roles at StoneX Group Inc., where leadership as Managing Director and Business Technology Officer involved overseeing technology strategies for critical fintech applications. Prior to that, Daniel was the Chief Executive Officer of Sterne Agee Asset Management and held various leadership positions, including Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, responsible for managing significant advisory assets and leading technology initiatives. Daniel's career began at Morgan Keegan with a focus on investment performance reporting and operational improvements in consulting roles. Daniel holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from California State University-Sacramento.
