T. Udayasankar

T. Udayasankar an industry veteran, with an experience of 45 years in the shipping and logistics industry is 71 years old. He has been at the helm of PSTS for close to 15 years. Under his stewardship the group has grown from strength to strength and has emerged as a top performer in the shipping and logistics industry in the country.

His academic qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Madras. He is also a fellow of the Institute of Engineers(India) and a holder of Form 'F' from Indian Customs.

He is not only professional, but also a multifaceted personality with a keen interest in sports, social and philanthropic activities. He is a patron of the Tamilnadu State Volleyball Association and the Thoothukudi District Volleyball Association. He was the Organising President, All India Volleyball Tournament in Tuticorin for 20 consecutive years from 1984 to 2003. He is the Chairman (Club Activities) of Tuticorin Rifle Club and a life member of the YMCA, Vepery, Chennai. He channels his philanthropic efforts through the PSTS Foundation.
