Richard Lo

Richard Lo is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in purchasing and program management within the automotive industry, currently serving as the Director of Purchasing for Advanced Vehicle Systems, Program Management, and IT at PACCAR since August 2007. In this role, Richard leads initiatives related to battery electric, hybrid, hydrogen powertrains, autonomous technology, and connectivity. Major projects include strategic partnerships on battery cell technology and hydrogen fuel cells. Prior to this position, Richard held multiple roles at PACCAR, including Assistant Director of Powertrain, Aftermarket, and Indirect Purchasing, as well as quality assurance and project engineering positions. Richard's previous experience includes engineering and sales roles at Visteon and Ford Motor Company, and an initial engineering position at Markey Machinery. Richard holds an MBA from the UW Foster School of Business and a BS in Mechanical Engineering with a Mathematics minor from the University of Washington.
