Hyunju Kang

Hyunju Kang is a highly experienced professional in the fields of climate action, social innovation, and global citizenship education. Currently serving as the Country Director for Pacific Environment in the Republic of Korea since June 2022, and as a Country Advisor and Field Advisor for Give2Asia since July 2018, Hyunju oversees grant processes and proposal evaluations. Previous roles include External Researcher at KOICA, Team Lead of Social Project Planning at The Hope Institute, and management positions in global citizenship education at 아름다운가게, where extensive educational programs were developed. Early career experience includes Project Support Coordinator at KOICA and volunteer work with HelpAge International, focusing on community projects in Cambodia. Hyunju holds a master’s degree from 경희대학교 국제대학원.
