Aivett Bilbao

Aivett Bilbao is a Computational Scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) since June 2016, having previously held the position of Post Doctorate Research Associate. Bilbao's academic journey includes two concurrent PhD Student roles at Life Science Mass Spectrometry at the University of Geneva and the Proteome Informatics Group at the SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics from November 2011 to January 2016. Prior experience includes an MSc internship at GENOSCOPE from March to August 2011 and a position as a Research Associate at the Centro de Biología Estructural in early 2009. Aivett Bilbao holds a PhD in interdisciplinary sciences focused on mass spectrometry, proteomics, and bioinformatics from the University of Geneva, an MSc in Information Processing and Data Exploitation from UVSQ Université de Versailles, another MSc in Automatic Data Processing from Télécom SudParis, and a degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad de Oriente (VE).
